I am not a girl and I don't play trombone, but I thought I would share with you the girls I know who DO play trombone.

I have one college student I coach who is graduating this year that plays trombone. She has a 3.98 GPA, won the university's concerto competition and played a solo with the orchestra. She was awarded some type of special 'job' where she will be heling with further music studies while she continues to complete her additional education (masters, etc).

There is an opera I play with and both the 1st and 2nd trombone players are women. And I have a dear friend who lives up north who is a teacher and working trombone player. And there is an orchestra I sit in as a substitute sometime who's 2nd and 3rd tromboen players are women.

So there are lots of good girl trombone players out there!. I hope there are some hear at 8notes for you!

My ex GF plays trombone, and so do I :P She played 2 years, I played 10 months. She's 3rd chair of the 6 trombones, and I'm 2nd chair :O

Hey I play the trombone, I just joinded I love band so it looked interesting. I have played for about two years. I know that seems short but I have gotton REALLY good.
