I have 2 student trombones.
Yamaha ysl 354 and Bach tb300 i think.
I want to give one to a friend of mine. Which is the better horn?

Assuming they are both in good repair, keep the Yamaha. They're on of the best made student trombones out there.

Agree. I am personally more of a fan of Bach horns, but between those two models, the Yamaha is the better horn.

Bach for a pro model, but for a student horn, Yamaha anytime. They're sturdy, and they sound better than any other. Plus, you can even keep it as a decent small bore horn for big band.
