Hi, I currently play a Yamaha Tenor trombone. I've been playing for about 8 months. I'm left-handed and have played my tenor that way ever since I began. (I know this isn't recommended, but I wasn't told to do otherwise.) Anyway, I've been looking to upgrade to a Bass trombone and have heard I can do so with a trombone with a rotating trigger. Does anyone know of any models that have those?

I dont think they make left handed bass trombones. I would recomend that you learn how to play using your right hand or you will run into roadblocks finding good horns. I also would not recomend that you switch to bass trombone after only playing the tennor for a few months.

I'll keep that in mind. I'm still in school, you see, so I can only get what the school provides. Fortunately, we just got a new tenor bone and it is much better than my former. I go to a small rural school, so the best available until now was a 33-year-old Yamaha with a bent slide, so I'm very content with what I now have. Thanks for the advice.
