I`m wondering about bore sizes for trombones in general.
I have been playing jazz for a few years now and I am looking
into getting a jazz horn. For now I`ve been playing off of a
bach 36 and it`s to big to play off of now. I was have been
of course looking for old King 2B horns but need to check bore
sizes on other trombones like the 3B but want to know how the
bore size will diffre from the bach as well as other trombones.
Also if any one has a Silvertone 2B just lieing around the
house I would be happy to take it off your hands. Well that
would be a perfect situation but if any one has info on bore
sizes plez email me at Strongbadnme@hotmail.com

Your Bach 36 is a .525 bore, the King 3B .508 and the 2B comes is a couple of different versions, dual and straight bore. In general, the 2b`s will be about a .500.

Any 2B in good condition sounds like it would be a good horn for you. But do check out a 3B if you can.

Yup your Bach is a 525 bore, for Jazz you want 500-510 bore, go with the King 2B or any other 500 or so bore horn. Also stay away from Holtons, Blessings, Getzens, and Jupiters. Go with a Bach, Conn, King, Edwards or Rath.
