Ok... there's this awesome violinist aaron meyer and I'm wondering if u people know him. I'm in 6th grade and he's an adult and we are great friends. So If U ever heard his name (on the comcast commercials lol) post here. If U dont go to:

You should check Sarah Chang out.
She's pretty awesome violinist.
But yes i think that i own one of his CD's as a matter of fact.

uhm....never heard of him but I went to his webiste and heard some of the samples...kinda like Kenny G for Violin. One of my favorite musicians violin or otherwise is Warren Ellis. He plays in a band called The Dirty Three (look them up on iTunes) and he also plays in Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
