hi to all! i started to pursue my dream of playing the violin only last aug 2005. i also have attended yamaha lessons for 12 sessions but of corrs i still cant claim that i able to play it well, as i am already working and i have a busy schedule. im planning to pursue the lessons in a conservatory (ust) this june. i have a problem though, cant find any of the required books: sevcik, suzuki and hrimaly. called bookwagon but they dont have stocks yet, they already ordered abroad but surely it will take a few months. can please someone help me where else can i find these? tnx!

hi there, i started playing the violin since i was 12, stopped taking lessons a few years then studied at ust conservatory of music. but i really love playing violin so i never actually stopped playing. anyway, just looking around for people who also play the violin.
i didn't know ther's plenty of violinists there! im in western edge of florida and i have only been playing the violin for 2 years but i have been in the 'all-county orchestra' here (im not bragging) so where is it? i don't know a lot of stuff yet but im a fast learner so please kuya saan ba?

Dahil hindi naman ganun kadami ang nagvaviolin sa Pilipinas, natutuwa ako everytime may nakikilala ako na nagvaviolin din like me. Kaya nagdecide ako na gumawa ng Message board para sa atin. Hindi pa ako nakakapagregister kasi under maintainance yung site, pero siguro baka next week meron na.

nag-umpisa akong mag-aral ng violin nong isang taon. nakakatawa pala sa umpisa parang dumarating na tren ang tunog! pagkatapos ng ilang linggo parang dumarating na barko naman! mabuti na lang may naka-imbento ng mute tuwa ng room mate ko.
sa isang buwan may exam ako conducted by Royal Music School (briton sila). heto nanginig na ako kasi naman ang whole note nila eh "semibreve" ang tawag ngak! tapos "minim", "crotchet", "quaver" --- never heard ang terms nila. american standard kasi tayo kaya nalilito ako sa note terms palang.
isang beses sa isang linggo ang turo sa akin. kalahating oras lang. medyo mahirap humanap ng oras para mag-pratice kasi nagta-trabaho ako. sana gumaling din ako katulad nyo.
