Hi dear friend!! you have to be careful, because it could breaks it!! and couldn't if it's well done,
must be confortable and fit, in a hard material (to prevent injuries) and you know is like your favorite playstation, no water, no hits, no direct sunlight, a fine violin must have a humedity control and a lots of cares. So think about it!!

I'm not sure what you mean by upside down. If you are sitting it down to where the bridge is facing down, you liek break the bridge. But if you mean you have the scroll facing towards the ground, I've never heard of this being bad but it could be. I wouldn't suggest carrying it that way.

Hi, i suggest you dont use the case or have it repaired so that the violin will not be carried upside down, you might break you violin, or you might get the strings to loose.
