What level are you playing at currently? What was the last piece you worked on? If I know that I might be able to help you out.

Try meditation from Thais its a good song its solo. Its not very hard depending on your level and its here at 8 notes...i think its apropiated for an audition.

Vivaldi would be fine to audition on, too.
My first orchestra audition back when I was 10 was on Tambourin by A.E. Grétry. Very cool piece.

there's an absolutely fantastic, grade 4-5 piece called tarantella by W.H. Squire. its full of fast and crazy scales and the like, plus it has a gorgeous flowing middle bit. the only real issue in this song is finger agility, but its not too challenging.
