Violin Fret Tape Placement

Hey All. I would like to use fret tape on my violin to get used to finger placements and what not. Does anyone have a site I could go to or tell me based on expirience where to place the "frets" or tape strips. I know some people told me to just go through with my tuner note for note and mark it off with a pencil or what not but I figure it would be easier and more accurate if someone could provide me with the placement based on measurments.This woul be greatly appreciated and save me loads of time and probably frustration. I have a full sized violin btw. Thanks
