I've seen acoustic violin that sound electric, but what do you do?

There are piezo pickups that can be fitted to an acoustic violin(on or under the bridge), you'll also need an amplifier and possibly some effects.

if you dont plan on using a pick up, play your bow close to the bridge (almost right next to the bridge). Their you will gain a much greater forte and an electric type of sound. this is the closest thing to an electric sound without the use of a pick up.

Don't try so much to make it sound electric...
Think about it like, ENJOY THE REAL SOUND OF THE VIOLIN
it sounds like you are more into the electrical sound...how about getting an electric violin???
They will never be the same but still. Really enjoy the violin's good quality sound!
