how can you tell if your violin needs new strings im desprate to know cause my violin doesnt sound right. also, has anyone ever heard of highridge overture or sonatine or canyon sunset because those are the songs ill be playing in compotion tomarrow! im really nervous about it too. Im in orchestra and indiana schools have a compoition called ISSMA or ISMMA however, i am really nervous about it and this is the first concert im nervous about because we get judged on everything. in a normal concert if i make a little mistake, its no big deal, but in compotion, we get points deducted if we mess up bowings or 1 little note. im just affraid if we get a silver or bronze. our school never had a bronze or silver before, only gold. i even counted, 32 golds.
wish me luck!!!!! ( ill need it! really, i will, i dont know messure 56 to 60 and the ending. its hard!)
