Hi. I am planning on getting a violin outfit from wwbw.com. it is the Florea Prodigy outfit. I wanted to know if anyone has had an experience with these violins and if its worth the buy. I really do not want to buy a VSO. I know that in terms of quality, you get what you pay for but I need to know if this instrument is at least a decent one. I was also looking at a Palatino VN-950 at a local shop, and any info on those would be greatly appreciated too.. Here's the link:

Thanks!

I know this isn't what you're looking for, but I would never purchase an instrument on-line. You have no idea what quality you're going to get, even if it is the same brand as one made before, they are all different. I would find a local dealer/maker and try out a few violins. Get an opinion from someone you know that knows violins well, don't count on the opinion of the dealer or maker, sadly enough most of them are just focused on selling. You will end up paying more in the end, but you will get a better quality violin, probably a warranty and in case it needs work you have someone who already knows the violin and who is easy to get to.

No, don't buy your violin online. I think that you should try different violins and then buy the one you like. Live.
