Does anybody know some good quartet pieces for sort of intermediate players? I'm thinking of getting these other 3 guys I know to play a quartet with me in the talent show. Let me know if you have some good piece ideas.

i played in a quartet last spring, and we played:

Minuet & Trio by F. Schubert
Sonatina by Beethoven
Menuetto by Mozart

and a little more. They're very good for string quartets.

CELLO!

I personally like to use a standard string quartet (2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello). The Art of the Fugue is a really nice one. So purty...However, based on the type of quartet, you may need to ask a private or public or school teacher. Otherwise, there are plenty right here on 8notes!
