Hi everyone, I'm thinking about using Eudoxa strings on my viola, and I was wondering if anyone has used these strings and if you liked them or not? My viola is a fairly recent instrument and i've been told that Eudoxa might not sound quite as well on modern instruments.
Thanks

Hi,
Pirastro (Eudoxa maker)has great Synthetic strings. They are very stable, sound almost like Gut & break less . Every instrument reacts differently to each type of string. It's all trial & error with string. There's the Aricore, Synoxa, Tonica, Obligato & Evah Pirazzi. You might want to get a C string with Tungsten for a clearer sound. Hope this helps.
