Okay, I`m wanting to re-learn the viola. I don`t want to spend alot of money on it, and I haven`t played since high school. I`m 34 now. I`m looking for a viola, and I can`t help but notice those $119.00 viola outfits that are out there. I`m wondering what is wrong w/ these instruments that they can sell them so cheap, and what do y`all recommend?

Look on the website below for violas. Cheap violas, violins, cellos and basses that are machine made sound bad, hand made Violas sound good, old hand made Violas sound even better.

Oh, and if your were talking about the viola stings, they are exactly the same, in order and everything.

I know almost nothing of cello :P
But I play violin and I`ll start viola in month
E A D G are violin strings (from higher to lower)
A D G C are Viola strings, a fifth lower
Isnt` cello a fift lower that viola?
I mean, cello strings aren`t suposed to be D G C F?

Actually, the viola and cello strings are the same, just that the cello is one octive lower. String basses I believe, from highest to lowest, are G D A E, opposite of the violins.
