This is not me trying to say im sexy or nething, but after looking round at the ppl in several orchestras, and talking to ppl in other orchestras, ive found the the best looking ppl, tend to be in the cello section.
Coincidence? Can anyone explain this phenomenon?

look at the percentages, like average looking to good looking; the cellists came out on top every time. (note: chenny ur a hippie, and not the good kind of hippie)

it seems to me that yes the `cellist are decent looking, but i do belive the most fun and most silly are the percussionists. and are goodlooking. its in the bible, i should no im a priest. a very good looking one at that

i mean it isnt an arfument, just an observation that ive made.
its all in the ratio u see;
if u get average lookin ppls:good looking ppls
then the cello section has a better ratio than other sections in the orchestra;
its happened in like 4 that i no of, and i only aboot 4, so um yer.
(the purpose of ninjas is to totally flip out and kill ppl)

I completely diagree Peter. I mean, orchestra`s are not designed to include beautiful, gorgeous, handsome etc. cello players, they are in fact designed for people who can play good music. I have seen several orchestras in my time where the cello players are completely....well, at least they can play well. You are making generalisations and assumption and ur arfument :P is completely unfounded. hehe luv.rachie xoxo

point, an orchestra might just be designed to have good musicians in it; but it is not a ungrounded comment
many ppls have pointed this out to me in the past, it probly is just just a few isolated occurances, but yer, thats wat i said b4, it was a question, r they always the best lookers, well no, but from the cases ive seen, they have been, which just made me wonder.

I don`t know if Cello players in Orhcestras are the best looking, but they are in front, so Cello players are one of the first groups people will see. Plus I always hear people say that they love the cello when I say to them that I play it, that could be another thing.
