How much of a different in sound is there between a 300 dollar cello and a 3,000 dollar cello? Is there much? Can I still get a decent sound with a cheaper cello?
Depends a lot on your ability and on what strings are on the cello. A beginner probably won't notice much difference at first because you yourself will be the limiting factor for a long time.
