Greetings super beginner. I would have to suggest you find a local Cello teacher or Conservatory to set you up with lessons. You have to walk before you can run backwards up a hill.
Wonderwall is a beautifull song.

hey caramac. if you're still curious about the notes for the cello part of wonderwall (just the verse that is), here it is. i got it by ear n with help of my violin.
Notes: F# - E - B
the notes are played in minim (or half notes/ 2 beats per notes) and its continues to play the same note foing back to F#, then E, then B and then back to F#.

scracth what i posted earlier, caramac. the notes are actually F# - A - E - B and then back to F# (its all still in half notes). sorry about that.

hmmm.........
i've got some now, (just figured it out) so it'll be easy.
u can work out the rythm easily
(the first three lines are on the D and A strings)
