Hi
I want to start an instrument but I cant decide which one to pick. violin or cello
I love both, but I think cello's sound is better but it is difficult to handle!!
please help me

I love the cello sound better also, it seems to suit me.
I loved playin the cello in college.
But it is difficult to transport (unless you these new hard cases with wheels - nice).
But if you have to back and forth to school the violin is much easier.

If I played violin I wouldn't have practiced as much. I practice a lot when I played cello because I liked the sound so much. So, if you want to be good you should pick the cello, because you will practice more and enjoy the practicing more.

Hey - that's great. Another member for the chummy cello community.

And, as one of my beginner students said to me today - "you just can't sound bad on a cello!" (You can't really say that about violin!!)
