I`m going to buy a new amp shortly, and i`m wondering whether I should get a 2*10" speaker cab or 1*15"? What difference would it make? My band plays bouncy pop punk with basslines that form the main part of the melody.

I would go for a 2x10 setup. That`s what I use. It`s punchier vs mush. If you like mush, go for the 1x15 (unless you have a really high powered amp to push the 15). Even with a high powered amp, I still think the 2x10 is a better setup.

I just asked my older bro and he says u should use 2x10, that`s what he uses.
