The Woodland Chamber Music Workshop is a place where adult musicians of any instrument and all skill levels come together for small-ensemble playing and coaching, seminars, chamber orchestra, and fun on the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior in Northern Minnesota.
Please visit our website for registration information and Workshop details:
or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
The WCMW boasts a fun and supportive atmosphere, and includes strings, winds, brass players, and pianists at all levels of ability.
Luxurious, lakeshore accommodations and meals are included at Surfside on Lake Superior resort in Tofte, Minnesota.
The Gichigami Trio and Betty Braunstein, artist-faculty in residence, give positive and constructive coaching sessions for each ensemble, plus a public concert.
Participate as a pre-formed group or individual. Individuals will be placed with other participants of similar skill and experience - no auditions required.
Check out the Woodland Chamber Music Workshop website, where you can get all of the details, see pictures, read feedback from last year's Workshop, be tantalized by the sample menu (food is prepared by the award-winning executive chef at the Bluefin Grille), and beautiful accommodations at Surfside, read about the faculty and register.
The Workshop runs in two sessions:
The full session is Tuesday late-afternoon June 26th-Sunday early-afternoon July 1st.
The "short" session is Thursday late-afternoon June 28th through Sunday early-afternoon July 1st.
Space is limited and registration may be limited after May 15th.
Please feel free to contact me with questions or for more information.
Additionally, I have a paper flier and registration form I can send to you if you'd prefer. If you know of anyone who may be interested please pass along this information.
Thanks, and have a great summer -- hope to see you at WCMW '12!
