Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out? I have had an acoustic electric guitar for about two years now. I have not really plugged it in to an amph sine I have gotten it. But the other day I got an amph, and when I plugged my guitar in I didn't get any sound. I'm pretty sure it's not not the amph. I was wondering if any one else has had this problem and knows what the problem is, and how to fix it?

Well it could be plenty of things. First I would check the chord, I would assume you have already done this. Just try a different chord see if it works. That the easiest. Then I would try pluging the guitar into a different amp, just to be sure that it works. Some amps are shipped broken. If the guitar still doesn't make any noise that is when you can assume it is your guitar. The problem would most likely be falty wireing to the pickup inside the guitar, although you could also have a broken pickup. Basically if it isn't your chord or amp I would bring it to a pro. Good luck and check to make sure that the volumes turned on.
