I'm left handed so my choices are limitied. I'm attempting to upgrade from my beginner acoustic and I've narrowed it down to two choices. The Yamaha APX700 or the Ovation Celebitry Standard. Both are acoustic electric. The Yamaha is about $150 more. Which one should I go with?
Your choices just got a lot bigger, I would buy a righty guitar, trust me you will suck at the beggining either way. I too am a lefty, just learn like a righty.
Sorry I didn't really read your post the first time.
I would go with the Yamaha is you are alright with shelling out the extra money, I have a Yamaha electric it's good except for the electronics. But seeing as it's acustic I am sure it will be fine. Plus I bought my Yamaha for a cheap 150.
How much are you looking to spend? I would try taking a look at the Carvin Cobalts. I have a C850 that I would put next to any sum $1500 Martin or Taylor.
If you cant afford an expensive Guitar, get a great one; (Epiphone)Ive had my Epiphone since1997 it cost$200 with case used.It plays like butter the action is so low and it is truly an annointed Guitar. It was a gift from GOD when I first started playing for our Praise'n'Worship Team,My Husband bought it for me!
