HI,EVERYONE!!!! FIRSTLY,I LOVE THIS FORUM! I ALSO PLAY A VIOLIN,AND IT IS FULL OF GOOD PEOPLE AND INFORMATIONS! NOW...CAN YOU TELL ME SOME GREAT AUTHORS AND NOTES FOR CLASSICAL GUITAR? I PLAY GUITAR IN ORCHERSTRA,BUT WE DON'T PLAY THE MAIN MELODY,MANDOLINS DO,SO WE ALWAYS PLAY SOME KIND OF BACKGROUND,AND WE ALWAYS PLAY SOME THINGS FROM BACH,HANDEL AND ALL THAT IS JUST FOR ONE MELODY. I WANT TO PLAY MUSIC FOR ONE GUITAR WITH TWO OR MORE MELODIES. I ALREADY LEARNED TO PLAY "ROMANCE" FROM ANNONIMUS AND "RECUERDOS DE LA ALHAMBRA" FROM FRANCISCO TARREGA. I WANT SOME STUFF LIKE THAT,NOT TO HEAVY,SOMETHING EASY FOR THE BEGGINING AND NICE...I ADORE SAD AND MELANCONIC THINGS ON A GUITAR,SO CAN YOU WRITE ME FEW AUTHORS AND THEIR SONGS WHO ARE NOT TOO HEAVY AND WHO ARE NICE?? I HAVE FOUND ONE GREAT SITE FOR CLASSICAL GUITAR www.free-guitar-notes.com AND IT IS WONDERFULL,BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT I DON'T KNOW FROM WHERE TO START AND WHAT AUTHOR TO OPEN,CAUSE THERE ARE MILLION OF THEM... YOU CAN ALSO SEND ME SOME NOTES AND MUSIC ON yosepha@net.hr PLEASE HELP!!!! THANK YOU FOR EVERY MESSAGE AND ANY KIND OF HELP!!!!!
look for piano classical piano tunes and play them on guitar when I took classical guitar lession that was the way it was done and also you can play any song the has good melodic structure with a classical approach the left hand for the piano is played with the thumb the is the bass cleft and the right with your fingers and you create a balance of bass chords and melody in your arrangement
F.Sor has a great collection of studies and Etudes. Try composers like Guiliani and Carulli. Jason Waldron has a great sreies of Popular classics for the guitar with very simple but effective transcriptions. But if you find Recuerdos easy I recommend anything by Albeniz
