Honestly, Les Paul is the faster guitar player ever, but then again he used recording tricks. Some of the fastest guitar players I thought were Paul Gilbert, Michelangelo Batio, & Buckethead. Maybe there are others faster but I haven't heard of them - not that it matters how fast you play, it's just a neat palor trick.
