So i got the guitar, and found some music i like, but now to play it.
ok so i dived in the deep end a bit too quickly.
does anybody have any good, but easy music for me to play? even if it is just suggestions.
i've been playing around for a couple of weeks with tab but would like to be able to play some songs.
and advice on figuring out strumming rhythms would be great!

thanks!

before you start looking for a nice song or music to play, its better to think first what you'd really like.

there are lots of genre available and dont get hoaxed by a "30 min play-like-a-pro system". playing any instrument requires one to be patient.

I usually encourage my student to listen first to their favorite music
then I let them decide the kind of music they'd want to learn (rock, pop or classicals)

if they want to learn in a day or 2, I teach them note reading and they play guitar solos or duets (classicals) and master them within a week
if they want to learn in a week, I teach them accompanyment(pop or rock) and master them in 2-3 weeks depending on their discipline and learning ability.

don't get discouraged if your a bit rusty. let me know how may I help you. e-mail me at tri5kmark@yahoo.com

Well if there is a feeling that playing guitar is just an easy thing in the world to do,then so is it. But what really matters is the proper guidance and also the commitment of an individual.Apart from this what really comes handy is the lessons on guitars which can be found by visiting http://www.totallyguitars.com/
