Hi, I've just started playing piano a few months ago. I'm taking private lessons but having difficulty changing hand positions and "stretching" to reach other notes. I have very small hands and I'm wondering how other people deal with this problem. Since I'm 16, I doubt my hands are going to grow much larger.

Is this something that will get better over time with practice?

I was so glad I started playing piano, it really does help with understanding theory!

everything you MUST do if you want to become pro is practice,practice,practise.nothing else.just practice.

for me.... it's sitting at the piano grinding your teeth while pulling your fingers apart on the piano... your hands are small you say but that doesn't mean you can't stretch them... they are muscles.... i know it sounds wierd but you can also stick your fingers apart between a bar on your stairs for a while so they come apart easier... i did both things and i can reach REALLY far!!!
