I`m nearly done with claire de lune now, and I`ve learned Arabesque, does anyone have any suggestions what to learn next? I need some pieces to keep me busy while I`m in between piano teachers

Try Rondo alla Turca, it`s Mozart, and awesome, one of my favorites. You might also try Clementi, he is probably my favorite composer, very challenging at first, but very fun to learn and play.

the engulfed cathedral (cathedrale engloutie) ...be ready to play two keys at once with each finger -- too kewl
reverie ...lots of lyricism in a simple composition

Mendelssohn, Songs Without Words. Most of them are cool.

Debussy`s Pour le Piano suite is amazing. It would be real challenging though.

Debussy`s Preludes - like La puerta del Vino for Spanish flavour, or Des pas sur la neige, for something slow and pictoral. Sunlight in his L`isle joyeuse. If you liked Jeux d`eau (Ravel) you`ll like Poisson d`Or, Reflets dans l`eau and jardin sous la pluie...

Is that Arabesque No. 1? if so which transcription. I`ve been looking all over for a solo guitar transcription.
