Does anyone know how I can increase my musical memory to the point where I can remember a let's say...3... minute song that I compose, the first time I hear it? Because I can compose a song at anytime, but when it's done it's just like, "where did it go?" PLEASE HELP!! I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!!

For me.....when i perform anything I don't trust my mind.... my mind gets nervous and panics then i miss a note and get all messed up...

the best thing to do is called muscle memory which helps you to not think and your fingers do all the playing.....

to build muscle memory all you do is play it over and over and over challenging yourself in fun ways like not looking or skipping parts so you can be prepared for anything

It takes some time, the more you play , more u will be able to memorize.Eventually you will see some rules there.Try to study music harmony or music forms.
You can always record yourself.

There are many many many ways to memorize music. People all learn in different ways...same thing with memorizing. Some of the tricks others use may not exactly work to you. But there are a lot of common methods to doing it.
#1) Natural memorizers:
Well, I'm probably one of those natural memorizers...You know the usual (no offense) nerds who see a glimpse of pi and memorize the next 30 digits in 5 minutes because they're so bored. (That's actually what I did once) You play the music a couple of times and bang you just suddenly memorize it. Sometimes, you can "pretend" that you're reading the music in your head and ding you got it. This will also help for visual learners. And sometimes you can just naturally memorize music just because you have had a lot of experience with reading music and memorizing them. At first, I had to divide everything, squeeze the juice out etc when I started the piano (3~5 years old then)...And now I don't really need to do that extra work. I practice the music. Then next few weeks, I come back with it automatically memorized without knowing that I actually did.
#2) Musically Talented.
This will help for many people with talented ears. (definitely not me. But my friend definitely adapted this talent and is quite good at using it too) Like someone will play you a weird note way down at the bass clef and you'll automatically find the pitch in a second. If you do have this talent...use it!~! When you're stuck at a sticky sport, remember how the music/phrasing goes and try to find the notes with your ears. This might help at concerts. You might not get the right exact notes but at least it'll 'sound' like you're playing the right notes in the audience's perspective.
#3) Visual
Basically look at the music and just 'pretend' you're reading it. that'll help.
#4) Hardworking person
Many people use this method. You set goals for each days. Perhaps at Day 1 you decided to memorize the first 5 lines of Mozart 454...no biggie. You just divide each measure, play a couple of times with the music and then play the measure without the music. Then you put it all together and you memorized the first 5 lines. Then the next day maybe you have more time so you decided to memorize the whole section B. So you do the same thing and etc. Then finally, you put all the sections together and play the entire piece. This really helps for a lot of people. As long as you are determined and consistent you'll be fine. Just don't cram everything in a short time period. The next time you play it, all the notes will be mixed up and confused.
#5) listening and remembering how the tune goes
This helps too. As you're playing try humming the tune inside your head...For some people, if they keep this mindset, all the notes just flow automatically.
#6) Finger memory
Basically...Keep your practice consistent! Practice at least 20 minutes (although it is very short) a day consistently...if you only play once a week, you're only going to go that far in memorizing. Practicing consistently at least 5 days a week will at least build memory in your fingers. Of course the finger memory definitely relates to memorization. They need to know where they go!

some tips:
~Never read the music once and then play everything memorized straight in your head since that day you have read your music UNLESS you actually nailed down all the dynamics, rhythms, notes, phrasing, etc. You could accidently play the wrong notes from the original composition if you haven't nailed all the process down.
~Focus! The last thing you want to do is daydream about your boyfriend/girlfriend while you're playing during practice time and then ending up messing up in a concert without knowing any quick cover-up strategies.

Take a mental picture.
Play it over &over again looking at it closely.
I can remember music for the most part sometimes; more the notes &rhythms. Haven't mastered dynamics yet.
