hi
does anyone know a good type of keyboard to buy? it needs to have 88 weighted keys on it
or if i was getting a piano (highly unlikely) what is a good sort to buy
for both there is a budget
it can't be too expensive (for my parents sake)
thanks

I have a Yamaha P-60. I've seen it for 600 bucks and it's really good.

I just bought a casio cdp 100 online and i love it. I don't really need all the extra stuff so this was perfect for me and it was really cheap because i had to buy it myself. It cost $400 with free shipping at musiciansfriend.com. it also came with a free stand. Hope this helps.

how is the Casio.
I was looking at getting one for my son.
I liked the key action better than Yam/roland/kawai etc.
Thanks
Mark

I really enjoy it. It doesn't have very many features but it's just like a real piano to me and that's all that i wanted for now.
