hi im adrian from romania and yes im a little to old, at least so they say to begin learning to play the piano but im going to do it anyway,its what i always dream to do so....im asking for yor help....what can you recomand me, books,internet sites anythin that can help me in the future to become real good at this...

If you want to self-teach (not the optimum, but do-able), and you have no background in music theory, I'd highly recommend "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Music Theory." Despite the idiotic title, it is a really good starter book to get you going. If you read it, you will be able to read music, which is where you really need to start, despite some people's claims that "chord method" is enough. It also comes with a decent CD-based ear training course.

Then, the Hal Leonard book "All About Piano" will get you going on actually playing music.
