I new here. I came upon this forum when searching for "sad pieces" in google and I was directed to this topic "What are your favorite sad piano songs? (http://www.8notes.com/f/36_94919.asp)". I've listened to all the songs reccomemended in that thread in youtube and I love them. I've always been a fan of sad music pieces and Square-Enix's music, so I thought I should share some of my favourite sad music pieces here as well.
One of my favourite composers is S.E.N.S (Sound. Earth. Nature. Spirit). A dou from Japan who writes beautiful music.

umm. to give a headstart, its actually a rock song, but the piano intro is amazing. i have already learned it myself without any music sheet, cuz that song doesnt have any haha. people can only learn it by ear, or by struck of luck. i had both

I know Monkey27! I can play it myself I love the song. The other songs of Yann Tiersen are good too, but nothing can come close to that one in my opinion.
