Have you ever heard of a pianist keeping their hands warm while playing?
for example, like wearing finger-less gloves
Should I do this?
Would it help me or not?
any comments welcome

Oh, I've not heard of this but it's happend to me.
If my hands are cold, I can't play at all.
My hands get stiff and I can't do any runs.

I haven't had to deal with this myself, but I do have a friend who wears fingerless gloves when her hands get cold playing.

Actually, I prefer my hands cold and dry. If they get warm, they get sweaty and my fingers slip all over the place.

I've never heard of keeping your hands warm whilst playing, but I'm always worried that my hands will be too cold and stiff at competitions. However, just have your piano room at a warmish temperature and your hands should be fine.

im very skinny with blood circulation issues so my hands sometimes turn to icicles while playing and i have to just sit on my hands for a minute to warm them up!
