I'm somewhere between a level 3 and 4, I believe... I've just picked it back up after a few years of rebelling against it due to the strictness of my first teacher, and while I'm, at the moment, teacher-less, I'm looking for something new to play... I've got a few lesson books, and I had a teacher for awhile, but it didn't work out - I'm in high school, and my schedule was a bit too full to keep a steady lesson schedule, although I do practice every day.
I really like video game and anime music, but I've found that a lot of it is a little bit beyond me. I also like pretty classical music and lullabies. So, any suggestions?
try google searching "g major music theory" and a link to free pieces will come up. just a tip: when learning pieces that seem hard play left hand and right hand separately and try mastering a couple of measures a day. I am also in high school and i understand the busy schedule. but, if you have a love for music and are in the mood to learn it(instead of having a strict teacher) i think you will find that learning is easier and the finished product more enjoyable. Good luck!!
