Hi, I`m being searching for the piano part for the Rach 3, and I haven`t been able to find it, as of yet. If anyone knows where I can get it (website) any help is greatly appreciated. If not then I`m really hoping that it`s not too expensive at Remenyi or the RCM bookstore (does anyone have an idea of the price for it?)

Are you in Toronto (or is Remyni/RCM located in U.S.?)...
My best suggestion (esp. if you`re in t.o.) is to go to a university music library. It`s public access and you can find it (or ask the librarian to help you find it) and then photocopy it.

Remenyi and the RCM bookstore are both located in downtown Toronto on Bloor Street right across from each other. They have a wonderful selection of music, pretty much anything that you want to look for. I`m probably going there soon, since I have other music that I want to pick up.
Unfortunately it seems that I cannot get into most of the University libraries unless I`m a student, and there are certain copyright laws involved with music, especially since Rachmaninoff was in the last 100 years. Of course I would if I could, but I don`t mind buying it since I really want to learn it, so it`s not a problem with me. Only issue is expense (I swear buying music and art supplies are draining my bank account.)

Send me some email - I might be able to help you. I found a score for the entire orchestra a while back, including the Piano part... it`s a pretty huge piece, but I`ll have to play it when I find the time...
Perhaps you have some blues scores I might find of use. Been looking around, but they are harder to come by.

I don`t have a tendency to play blues music (I have a bad time with piano rhythms in jazz/blues style) I`m not even sure what I have in blues, but if you want to email me about it, that`s okay. I have a lot of sheet music. As for the Rach 3, it`s a long piece (30+ pages?) anyways, I`m only looking for the piano part, I`m not planning to perform it.

The music library at U of T or the one at York are public access - you don`t get carded. They do have photocopy machines there and you can look up the music on their catalogue. Ask them for help and just say you`re a student if they ask (they won`t though)
Hope you try this before you buy it!
Oh, and the music library is behind the ROM/planetarium

Hi im Steve im 15 years old i live in Australia but i thought this still may be relevant to you.
You`ve probably got rach 3 already but I`ll let you know I bought "Schirmer`s Library Vol. 1610" and it was $20 Aussie dollars and is an excellent version. Fingering, articulation, fingering, orchestral accompaniment for second piano etc. It just may be more convenient then making 70 photo copies or however else.
