Has anyone heard Ludovico Einaudi? He is an Italian contempory classical minimalist composer. His work is simple and so much fun to play, I have learnt a lot of pieces simply from listening to his CDs, Because the notes are easy to pick up by ear, there are not many complex harmonies to listen to, its all very simple but somehow still amazing to listen to, you can easily by the sheet music from musicroom.com, but I prefer to learn by ear, saves money, and I am better at playing by ear and memory then reading off some piece of paper.

One of the best pieces I have ever learned of his is off his I giorni album called `In un`altra vita`. I urge anyone to learn this, it has a second beautiful movment as it were towards the end of the piece, very simple but very effective. All his pieces are pretty much intermediate, no advanced playing.
