What are some of your most favorite `sad` piano songs to play? My all-time favorite is "Watermark" by Enya, but I also like:

Satie`s "Gymnopedie No. 1"
Theme from "Somewhere in Time"
Coldplay`s "In My Place"

sorry but that satie piece is no song...it is a piece...a song has vocal parts... and rachs prelude in C#-minor if when you said songs you meant pieces...

I meant both pieces and songs, though I find most pieces that are supposed to be introspective and sad don`t really come across that way in reality, so I lean towards songs.

Probably not, but I personally think "un sospiro" by Liszt sounds sad, kind of like a song played if one is departing...Iunno but that`s what I think
