Like I said before, I am just starting band and I have question to the people who are already in percussion.. On snare do you HAVE to use Right Hand lead on everything. I am used to my LeFt hand!!

Not sure what it's like in your band, but most people do find it easier to lead with the right hand. Depending on what you're doing it could be ok to lead with your left - if its for an exam or competition or show then ask someone who knows whats going on (like the director/bandmaster/section leader etc).

Hey, you dont always have to lead off with your right. you can use your left. I would often switch it up, if you can do it with your right you should be able yo do it with your left...and visa versa. If you can do that it will only make you better!
