who believes duct tape can fix anything? I DO! our percussion section runs on duct tape. we all carry around 2 rolls of it when we go 2 football games and compititions. it is awesome. DUCT TAPE CAN FIX ANYTHING!!!! all the drums are duct taped.....we even had 2 tape the drum set together.......
wow i had no idea.we should get the director a big roll 4 xmas scratch that we'll need it b 4 then...if we hav joe we'll need it asap...u know how those snare drummers can be w/ their sticks...and ryan...gosh we'll need a lot of that over the span of this season.
yea i wonder how long joes drum sticks will last.....im gunna need the most duct tape......i already broke the cables that held 2gether the gong.......among other things........like the marching snare stand..........
For us it's electrical tape and string. We have so many jerry rigged harnesses and mutilated sticks it's not even funny. We had a tenor player a few years back who destroyed heads and sticks; not because he played wrong, but because he hit the sticks in the exact same spot on the exact same spot on the head every single time. He shattered a pair of silver fox sticks, broke three heads, and snapped a metal drumstick clean through; no bends or anything. He was a true bamf.

my mellophone spit valve fell off and was saved by a band-aid/gauze and ductape...ductape can fix anything...:-)
haha. my friend joe needs to tape up his sticks after every football game. me, being the cymbal monkey, has to hold the crash cymbals for him and as he hits them wood flyes EVERYWHERE! last football game it ended up in the quads players hair...it was funny...
