I want to build a 13 by 3 piccolo snare. My plan is to by the shell and do all of the drilling edging and finishing myself. I want a very high picthed sound with a sharp attack and a short but exaderated ring. what head do you recomend i use...? i like to crank my head high as well... i am kinda invisoning a goch like sound... {dont worry i have two snares on my set... one of which is alot less obnoxious...}
