I have to take an exam for percussion, and I would like other people's ideas on this. I don't know much about marches.

Describe the role of the bass drum, cymbals, and snare drum in a traditional march. Be sure to include the topics of pulse control, accents (on and off the beat), rhythmic interest, drive, dynamic control and emphasis, and balance and blend in you answer.

Don't worry- I'm not cheating. This is the question on the study guide and we are supposed to get help from others! ~Thanks
