Hey percussion community!

I'm curious to hear about the different ways that everyone muffles and tunes their marching bassdrums.

I've been a bass drummer for 11+ years and teach at a few drum corps. Muffling has always been a pain and I know that I always had questions about how to tune and muffle for indoor versus outdoor, How much foam to use, the best heads to use etc.
