I`ve always loved the sax and wondered if it is an easy instrument to teach yourself. I already play piano (taught myself), violin, guitar and drums, and i am a classically trained singer. I can get a sax but i dont have time for lessons. What do you think?

I suppose it`s more than possible, just go online and get fingering charts for starters, then buy some beginner books at a music store and keep working up, and start buying some improvisation books as well.

Hi! I think that would be cool. Your obviously musically inclined like me hehe.. Reed instruments are different though. I play clarinet and I had a chance to try sax.. Its pretty cool! But right now i`m in the same boat as you, my friend wants to give away her flute.. so.. i said i`d take it! I don`t think I can play it but why not i`ll try. Its a free flute! lol oh i play piano too
