yo, I am. But, it kindof sucks, we get pointless parts, can`t be heard, and arebasicly just space fillers. But, all and all, I enjoy it, and actaully am one of the best marchers, winning drilldowns and whatnot, to the amazment of the egotistic marching trumpets. lol.

Personally i was in marching band last year and i absolutely hate it. First of no liar my skool had would fit on my sax so i had to memorize the music. The music wasnt that hard thank god.

I was in marching band earlier this year, only I did it as a clarinet. I agree with Wildband, the saxophone is really just an instrument added to fill space. I haven`t seen a good part for a saxophone yet in marching band.

i`m in it.
it`s awesome.
it`s awesome for my school anyway.
we rehearse from like 5 in the morning
up to like 6 or 7 in the night.
on saturdays.
it`s well worth it though.

my director made me play trumpet. but it was fun we played spanish music. we made 7 place in ky semi finals in class 5a we only had 78 people all together all the other bands had 120+ but we sounded huge b/c over half of the band was brass go schs rockets

im in the monsignor farrell marching band and mosignor farrell marching band has been new york state champions group 2 open 3 years in a row.Were going to the ussba national championship in balitmore on november 11th to compete with the top 5o bands in the country. I play tenor and alto but play tenor for farrell and i have great parts. Were playing pictures at an exhibition and we have no liars we have to memorize four sheets of music. we practice in the summer tuesdays and thurssdays 5:00-9:30 and we have a two week band camp from monday to saturday all day.
