which is better, tenor, alto, bari or soprano?
which do you prefer?
i play bari and tenor (but i can play the alto, never tried soprano)
just wondering everyones elses opionions.

I love my soprano. (My top instrument)
Trough I think I like all of them. (Incluing som weard ones, Contra, Ect)

Personally, I like alto and soprano. I'm a bigger fan of the higher pitched instruments. I do like the bari sax though.

i like playing tenor but i dunno if i like how it sounds...
alto is just fun.
bari is kick a$$ <am i allowed to do that??
and soprano and alto r too squeaky and high.
i have never played contrabass, but i want to. anyone wanna ship me one for free?

I heart my Buescher Bass. Got to play a contra and subcontra before (me in the picture with the contra!!). Wicked sweet they were.

Why Do a lot of people would concider Saxophons Other Then SATB weard? (Some times soprano too.)

Have you ever heard a piccolo saxophone? It's one octave the B-flat soprano.

Those are crazy. Acutally called a soprillo. I saw one in person at the home of Jay C. Easton. I didn't actually get to play it myself, but he played it, and it was really something else.

I went to Seattle to test play the contra he sold, as I was one of the potential buyers.

i like then tenor... i just dont like how it sounds when 'I' play it.
anyhow... maybe its just how it sounds being played back on a cheep tape recorder.
anyhow off to play my beast. (bari)
