Musical Director wanted for 7-9 piece BIG BAND in London.

My name is James and I’m a Swing singer now living in London. I have just finished working on various cruise lines over the past five years and have just settled in the London.
I have a very good agent in London who is currently booking some big names in this genre and is interested in taking me on as a performer, but won’t until I have my own band. I have been used to working with resident bands on the various ships I’ve been on, and for the first time want to put something together as a permanent fixture.
I’m looking for a specific kind of person. Firstly male or female doesn’t matter, what does matter is good live experience in either Jazz or Swing, preferably. I’m 28 years old and want the band members and M.D. to be approximately the same age. You must be able to read and write all parts for the band as my arrangements will need to be tinkered with. You must be open to new ideas and be able to look after the needs and wants of the band members. I’m looking to put together a 7 piece to start with but as things progress so the band will grow.

I’m looking to construct a young viberant group of VERY TALENTED individuals to work corporate venues, hotels and theatres to start with. This is something which be built from the ground upwards and will take alot of time and effort on everybodys part. You must also live in the London area and be able to commute.
