when i tend to play alto sax a lot by bottom lip seems to hurt i don't no if its my lips arnt right and wat size reed should i use i've been playing for a tearm?????

Usualy if your a biginer start on 1-2.5 donot go any higher then those and then slowly moove up by half sizes.

when i started to play my sax I found my bottom lip was sore for the first week or two, then i you just gotta break it in and get used to it. reeds make a difference too.
