Hello everybody...again
How do you play/where is the b flat button located?
(got a bad saxaphone tutor)
Oh yea i'll tell you this story about him and how sad he is to me.
Ok, So i came to class (individual lessons at school) and while he was setting up his saxaphone I just tryed playing portsmouth, it being my homework. And this is the stink part; I'm playing and it sounds all right but not proffesional and then he starts singing to the melody the words 'YOOOOOUUU SUUUUCK' and I was like to my self : ' what a dick I've only been playing for like a month and he starts offneding me...Sheesh wat foes he expect?
So yea just felt like sharing it was pretty funny acctually..lol
Anyway whats the B flat????

Sorry to hear about your instructor, but it's far easier to leave now before you learn bad habits. I am by no means an expert on saxophones, but I believe the b flat key is the little key directly under the actual b key. In other words it's the smaller circle under the larger (B) circle. Hope it helps. I'm sure someone will probably write and tell you name of its location.
Take care

Lera is correct about the bis key being one of the fingerings for Bb the other common fingering is your first two fingers down (A) and right side key 1 (the bottom one of the 3 right side keys). Both are acceptable, and depending what you are playing they are both useful. I prefer the right side key, but I do use bis on certain passages.

I agree with cjbass. I personally think the top key on left and top key on right is easiest, but hey, pick your prefered one!
