I have taken alto sax lessions for 11 years now and play for about 20 hours weekly.
I am looking for a upgrade from my Yamaha YAS-475. I am considering a professional level instrument.
What are the pros and cons between the following:
Keilwerth SX 90 R "Shadow"
Selmer Paris III 62HA
Yamaha YAS-875EX
Yanagisawa A9933
Also, I would like to know if I'm at the skill level where I would need a pro level instrument. Opinions on other horns would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks for your help in advance!

I'd go with the Yamaha; I heard that Yamaha stays with the same key positions so it's not a huge transition when you switch instruments. Selmers are great saxes, too. Personally, I'm not a fan of Yanigasawas and I've never tried a Keilwerth so I don't know about them. Just remember that it's your choice.
What type of sax do you play anyway?? I don't recognize that Yamaha model...

Id go w/ Yahama. That ones an intermediate right? Depending on how much you like sax is what should determine what level of sax to buy.
