I'm playing the tenor sax and alto sax in band this year and I need help; how do you switch back and forth between instruments?? I'm thinking I should use a saxophone stand, but I'm afraid I'll kick it over (I'm a klutz ). Lately, I've been leaning the saxes up against my leg, but if I move, the sax will hit the floor. Any suggestions??
Thanks!!

Use a stand, good ones are well balanced and you will not have a problem with it falling over, your leg is a bad idea.

I totally agree. VERY bad idea.
"I'm a klutz" Then do something about it. Un-klutz yourself!

I use a Belmonte dual stand, it holds an alto, tenor, clarinet and flute. I always keep my horns on this stand and it has yet to fall over.
